Get To Know Your Engineer

With over 20 years of professional reserve study experience and a foundation in Civil Engineering from Columbia University, I offer a level of technical depth that is rare in the reserve study industry. As a Community Associations Institute credentialed Reserve Specialist (RS #152), I have dedicated my career to helping communities protect their most valuable assets through rigorous analysis and high-integrity planning.

Throughout my career, I have personally conducted over 2,000 reserve studies (Levels I–IV), transition studies, and insurance appraisals. My portfolio spans the globe, from specialized projects in Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Austria to national developments focused in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Texas and the Mountain West. Today, I focus exclusively in Colorado, from the High Country to the Front Range and the Western Slope. Whether I am working with a 3-unit luxury mountain condominium or a sprawling 4,600-unit HOA, my goal remains the same: to provide a clear, objective roadmap for long-term financial health.

Expertise You Can Trust

I don't just "run the numbers." My background as a Civil Engineer allows me to see what others might miss. I provide proven expertise in:

  • Infrastructure & Building Systems: Deep knowledge of building envelopes, HVAC, mechanical systems, and site utilities.

  • Cost Valuation: Accurate project cost estimating based on two decades of real-world data.

  • Strategic Funding: Developing long-term plans that balance the need for property maintenance with the financial constraints of the board and homeowners.

  • Diverse Property Types: Expert assessments for High-rise/Mid-rise, Mixed-use, Townhomes, Country Clubs, and Religious Institutions.

A Partner for Colorado Boards

Living and working in Summit County, I understand the unique challenges our Colorado communities face, from specific infrastructure demands, to fickle weather patterns, and limited access to contractors. I pride myself on acting as a true partner to Boards of Directors and Community Managers, ensuring that every stakeholder understands not just the what, but the why behind their reserve study.
